Join me at the music house!
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
House concerts are magical. They can be a beautiful exchange between the artist and the audience. Each show will be considered a listening room, with full attention given to the artist. If you’ve never been to a house concert, give it a try. I think you’ll find it a truly special experience!
Seats must be reserved by noon the day of show. To make a reservation, simply email your name and the number of people in your party to jenigrouwsmusic@gmail.com . You will receive the address and other pertinent information from me within 24 hours. If you do not receive a response, please email me. If a reservation is made and you must cancel, please do so at least 72 hours prior to the concert. The artist only receives compensation from reserved seats and I know we all want to ensure these artists have the best turnout possible! 72 hours allows me time to try and get those unused seat reservations sold.
Parking instructions will be sent in confirmation email.
Seating is limited to about 35 seats (depending on the concert). First come, first served.
All shows $25 suggested donation. Every dollar goes to the artist!
Door will open at 6pm with the first 30 minutes for conversation with the artist. Show will begin at 6:30pm and end around 8pm. Guests are welcome to stay around for conversation after the show until 9pm.
All shows are BYOB.
The Music House is my current personal residence, on loan to me by the Catalyst Foundation and Jeff Davis during my songwriting residency. Please be respectful of the space and of the awesome neighbors. If there is snow/rain for any of the shows, I will be asking for shoes off at the door, so feel free to bring slippers.

Songs from The Music House was performed in May 2025 and came out of my songwriting residency in Omaha through the Catalyst Foundation, created in part by Jeff Davis, founder of Playing With Fire. I could not have accomplished all that I have in these months without this residency. I will always feel gratitude and love for the city of Omaha, the musicians and the music lovers that make this place special and for the board of the Catalyst Foundation, especially Craig Watz and Maggie Ebert. But more than anything, I give my thanks, my friendship and my love and respect to Jeff Davis and Vanessa Marie. They make magic happen. I would never have come to Omaha without their encouragement and support. ❤️
With this residency ending, I’m thrilled to announce that I have been offered an extension to my residency and I will now be in Omaha until January 2026!
