News!

Who wants some news?! 😁

Well, it’s been a remarkable time here at The Music House in Omaha. With the wild success of the sold out show on May 17 at Jewell on Capitol, I’ve been living on a high. I’ve also been running ragged around the country! Washington D.C., Nashville twice (including an incredible time at the Songwriter’s Union working on a new tune! More on that later), New Jersey, and a run to Kansas City with Avey Grouws Band. I’m off to Unionville, Missouri tomorrow and then the Bellson Music Festival in Illinois on Saturday, but first I have to tell you the news!

First, I’m thrilled to announce that my residency has been so warmly received here in Omaha, that the Catalyst Foundation has offered to extend my residency until January 2026. What a great honor! And what a relief as well! I have a few more months to figure out where I’m going to head next! I plan to use this time to write while I’m still touring around the country. But I also have something additional with this residency to announce.

In the coming months, you’ll want to follow my schedule here on the website, on facebook or follow me (for free) at bandsintown.com/jenigrouws , as I’ll also be adding dates for opportunities for you to experience concerts right here in The Music House! Songs In The Music House will be a concert series that I’ll be curating during my residency between July and the end of December 2025. I’ll be releasing my lineup of artists in the coming weeks and I hope, hope, hope that you’ll consider coming for at least one (or more!) of the house concerts. I will not be taking any money, but all of the ticket money will go directly to the artists. That’s what it’s all about, right?

So many good things ahead! Thanks for being on this journey with me. Life: what a wild adventure!
