Friends, please help me welcome my solo debut album “Music House” to the world! I’m truly honored to be able to share this album with you. 💛
This is years of my life: my creativity, my passion, my exhaustion, my pain and, ultimately, my hope, in one album. I’m very proud of it. And right now, at 2:40am, after 2 separate 20+ hour days (yes, that’s right) this week, just doing everything I can to run this business as a fully independent musician, I’m proud of me, too. I know, you’re not supposed to say that, but I am.
Colin Campbell of Blues Matters Magazine in the UK wrote: “Stepping out from almost a decade, fronting the Avey Grouws Band, Jeni Grouws arrives with a debut solo statement that proves she has plenty to say, and the voice, songwriting chops, and musical muscle to say it with conviction. Jeni Grouws has delivered more than a solo debut, she has announced herself as a distinctive and thoroughly convincing voice in contemporary blues and roots music.”
I’m so glad the reviewers are saying good things about this album. But even if they hated it, I’d still be proud! 😉
As for you. Well you are here because you support this mission I’m on and me. And I know you want to help, so here’s the deal: I’m an independent artist. I don’t have the network or the money of a label or an agency. But I know I’m not in this alone! Because I have you.
You have no idea how much of an impact you can have on the success of an album in the first two weeks of its release.
