Jeni Topped the rolling stones?!?
Friends! So much as happened since Music House was released to the world. So I’m going to simply say that it’s going so well!
First, the Big Blues Bender was amazing. I’ll do a separate blog on that soon. But today I have good news to share for those that haven’t seen my social media posts.
Music House is getting great airplay across the globe and I couldn’t be happier. See for yourself:
Look at that!
#1 on Le Collectif Des Radios Blues in France, Belgim and Quebec for all of September. I mean, look at that list! GA-20 w/ Charlie Musselwhite, Keb’ Mo’, The Rolling Stones for gosh sakes! I know, I know, I’ve got nothing on their over 50 years of accolades. But, dang, it’s fun to see just once!
#9 on The Big Blues Chart for all of September!
These are just remarkable results for this album and for an independent artist like me. I’m over the moon!
So if you wonder if it makes a difference when you email your favorite radio station to ask them to play a song from my album? Yes, it makes a HUGE difference. Keep asking! Let’s work together to keep these numbers going for October.
And if you haven’t followed me already on Spotify, Apple Music, all of those online sites, please do that as well. Buyers for festivals and venues look to see how many followers I have to decide if they should take a chance on me. So you really are important in helping me make the most of these few months after the album release.
I promise, I’ll get back to funny updates and the like, but it’s a crucial time and I’m just trying to stay on top of it all!
With that in mind, just a reminder that I’m bringing the band to Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago Friday night to headline the Mahindra Blues Fest at Buddy’s!
And Saturday I’m in Cedar Rapids, IA for the Southside Blues Fest with Duke Tumatoe, Kat Blue & the True Believers and me and the band. We’re at Veteran’s Memorial on the bridge. Come join us and tell your friends!
It’s almost 1:30am and I need to get my laundry done, the kitchen packed up and a few more emails sent before I head to bed. But I want to say, as I always do: Thank you. For everything. For it all. For you. I love you!
More later! 🥰
Love,
Jeni
