Want to know a secret before anyone else? 🤫

In an age when social media has a way of bringing us together, while at the same time making us bonkers, this blog will become even more important in my communications with you. About tours, news, even some silly stuff! BUT, since you are early adapters and because you actually check this blog, I’m going to give you information first.

So first thing: Part of the reason things got delayed on my end is because I had a label that wanted to release this album. How exciting is that?! And they are a label I really admire as well. However, there are moments when the timing just isn’t right, and they really wanted to wait until 2027 to release this album.

I couldn’t do that. Not to you. And definitely not to me. I’ve put too much of my time and my finances in this project to wait until 2027. And you’ve been waiting forever it seems to have this music for your own! The label absolutely understood and we will have conversations in the future, which I am grateful to know. So, I’m officially releasing this album fully independently and I’m back on task of getting this album out to you!

My solo debut album Music House is releasing on September 4, 2026! And the album release party will be held at Captain Roy’s in Des Moines, IA. I am excited, anxious, frazzled and so damn proud to have this going into the world and to have you with me for this ride!

More exciting news coming in the days ahead about the kickstarter and I’m going to show you the album image before I share it with anyone else!

I am nutty with sleep deprivation, but I’m excited for the shows ahead in the next two weeks, furiously working to get all of my jobs done to release this album and intensely lucky that I listened to my heart and to all of you to go for it.
